“If you want to change the fruits, you will first have to change the roots. If you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible.” T. Harv Eker.
Those are the famous words of one of my mentors T. Harv Eker. I first met Mr. Eker in his book”Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”. He explained to me that in order to change our fruits, we must first change the roots of the tree.
I want you to picture a tree. Let’s suppose this tree represents the tree of life. On this tree there are fruits. In Life, our fruits are called our results. So I want to you to look at the fruits (our results), if we don’t like the size of the fruits or they are bitter what do we do?
Most of us would put more focus on the fruits or the results? We would water the tree to produce more fruits. I want you to think about what actually creates the fruits? Isn’t it the seeds and the roots that create those fruits?
Change the ROOTS to Change the FRUIT. It’s whats under the ground that creates what’s above the ground.
It’s what’s invisible that creates what’s visible is. So what does that mean? So what does Mr. Eker mean by that? He means that if you want to change the fruits, you will first have to change the roots. If you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible.
In my experience, what you cannot see in this world is far more powerful than anything you can see. There are tangibles and intangibles that most of us have hard a hard time understanding. We are part of nature and nature has laws that both you and I cannot change even if we wanted to.
That’s exactly why placing your attention on the fruits that you have already grown is futile. You cannot change the fruits that are already hanging on the tree. You can, however, change tomorrow’s fruits. I have to add, in order for this to actually happen you must first dig below the ground and take care of the roots (inner self).
